This game is cool   Cool

but it feels a bit rushed because some of the boss fights drag on way to much.

I haven't tried tripping mode yet but I do like how they have "feel Eden" mode- it's basically no die mode- so you can use the game to impress girls. Kinda like when you have them play flower  Cool

I feel like this game would have been awesome if it had an audio surf-esque mode where it could generate tracks based off of your playlist- have sort of like an interactive visualization DJ mode for parties- now that would be sweet.

Anyone else here experience the acid trip of Eden? How did you feel about the $50 price tag?

I feel like the $50 price tag has stopped Tara from getting it - and since she's the only person with Kinect, well, I don't feel it's worth play at all. I WANT TO WAVE MY HANDS IN THE AIR LIKE I JUST DON'T CARE.

Maybe I'll start a "Get Tara Child of Eden so Greg can Play It Every Now & Then" foundation...

I'll probably pick it up on extreme discount eventually.  I really wish I cared more about this game, but I can't. 

Embarrassing admission:
I was completely underwhelmed by Rez. I bought it twice and thought it was cool looking.  Beyond that it felt like Starfox for stoners to me.  Now it sits next to Ikaruga in my collection of "Games That are Supposedly Important, But I Just Don't Really Like."

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to the EARTH DEFENSE FORCE. (pictured below)

So, the gods responded to my cries by discounting Child of Eden at gamestop yesterday. Now I've just got to bother Tara to let me come over sometime...

No worries.  It'll eventually get its 6 months on deep discount... and then rocket into "extremely rare selling on ebay for $100" territory soon.

I think $30 online is worth it- that's what I bought mine for-
I'm 6 hours in and still not finished with the last level.

Yeah- I think Rez didn't really stick with me because I don't really know what the hell its about- at least Child of Eden has a theme and an almost contestant art style- Rez just kinda felt like a bunch of shit thrown together.

But yes, Starfox64 is still the best a man can get.

Rez should have been 20 hours of chasing a tron guy down a hallway.  That part was awesome.
