I'm guessing Wesker'll be back. He can't go out like a chump.
Or if they decide to go the route of the 4th Resident Evil game and kind of explore the Uroboros/Las Plagas mutation of the T-Virus, I'd be alright with that. They incorporated a lot of elements from RE5 in the most recent movie... so if they continue to do that, but reference better RE games (2 & 4), and make the movies better (someone get the screenwriter who did Silent Hill in on this), the franchise may have a chance at ending on a high note.
... Or two years from now it'll release, and it'll be the same movie rehashed with even worse dialogue, laughable action sequences, and it'll stray from the video games entirely. And it'll STILL make a buttload of $$$ at the box office.
