My girlfriend is trying to get me to watch this. Her first attempts kind of failed...

"You should watch Community."
"Hmm... (looks it up) Oh, it's a sitcom about college..."
"No it's not."
"Yes it is, look: When times get tough, the tough go back to college. This is what lawyer Jeff Winger blah blah... Now a Greendale Community College student.' See! College."
"No, it's a sitcom about college like the Office is about an office."
"...but the Office IS about an office."
"...just watch it already!"

All she had to say was "hey, you should watch this show with Chevy Chase in it." I woulda been on that shit in a second.

Best line of the show. That, or anytime Chevy Chase opens his mouth. He is all sorts of epic.

I loved the opening sequence when it showed them all getting out of bed, and Donald Glover (Troy) was wearing the Spider-man pajamas.  Subtle jab at the fact that he was shot down for Peter Parker in the Spider-man reboot (true story, he was in the running but didn't get it for obvious reasons... >_<)

What obvious reason? He's ripped, witty, and looks good in that suit.

You're very welcome.

And it's not me being racist, it's Sony Pictures. Who lol'd at the idea of a black Spider-man.

Wow, Community started off the season as good as I could have hoped. I still maintain that the writing on this show is TOO GOOD for television which really really worries me that it won't get the credit it deserves because the mass audience of TV watchers are too stupid to understand it. I am a fan of the Office, 30 Rock, and other shows but, Community is still easily the best comedy show on television right now.
