Ok so I have been out there doing some research on some of the popular Mincraft servers, and I have discovered many awesome ideas for a possible Gologotron server.

Lets start with a main server which we route all traffic to the same spawn point. We shall dub this the Gologtron Lobby for now. We then can route several server that connect to portals that all exist on the main server.

Branching server Ideas:

PVP Land - Everything is chaos. PVP, blow stuff up. Grief structures. A realm of pure hate.

Creativity Land - This world would be reserved for building creative structures, monuments, natural wonders, allowing inventory editors.

Golgotron Ver. 1.0 - This would be a vanilla server with no mods or add ons. We can use this as a back up to get on and jerk around while the main servers are under going maintenance.

Pixel Art - Pretty much go ape shit with graffiti, pixel art, 8 bit armies, Street Fighter characters in the style of NES Mega Man, etc, etc. All moderator tools available to player except the abilities dealing with other users or to destroy block's you haven't placed.

Survival Land - Pretty much Minecraft Survival. All monsters are on, fire is enabled. You get the idea.

Netherworld - A Nether server.

I haven't gotten the chance to mess around as a advance server moderator yet because my wunder pc is almost done. I will look into all the ad ons and tweeks available to private server owners.

I think this would be a lot of fun if we can get this going. It would be available only to those who have accounts to the forum website, which will give staff members a way to post announcements, rules, info and manage some control over members of the Gologtron Minecraft Server.

New 1.6 update is due any day now, so let's get the Minecraft love back up in this bitch. What do we need to make this Golgotron server a reality? I ain't the foo' to ask, I just dig and build and shit. Someone with the knowledge help us 'crafters out here.
