I think "A life well wasted" is THE absolute best in gaming- but there have only been 8 episodes over the past year- but you'll see why once you start listening.

But if you want stupid shit-Game spy debriefings is full of funny assholes & Call of podcast talks a lot about hitting on girls in Tokyo.


I really wanted to get into the HAWP cast but they usually end up talking about a bunch of movies that I haven't seen.  -_-

I actually can't stand A Life Well Wasted, tbh. The couple of episodes that I listened to were unbearable. Everybody on the podcast just sound like super pretentious dick holes. The way they edit the podcast with all the music and segments really fucking annoys me too.

Yeah, I just listened to the podcast just to double check to make sure that it was the podcast that I was thinking off. Holy FUCK this shit is terrible. Seriously, I would rather watch Glenn Beck than listen to this horrific crap.

The huge shame is that instead of just focusing on having GOOD conversation with the guests they have on the show they edit and produce the audio into fucking oblivion until it is completely unrecognizable from what the original audio would have been and makes it mind numbing to listen to. I don't need a conversation to be fucking narrated by some other fuck bad with music in the background.

Did I mention that this podcast is a complete piece of shit?

In general, there's the Dead Air Podcast, now back from a 7(?) year hiatus.  In the last episode (or rather, the last one I listened to: January 6th), it seems they have offended a small person, who decided to reply with a nasty voicemail.

....I think this may be up your alley, your cup of tea, etc.

I think the production is fantastic- It's a completely original concept to musically score a conversational podcast.

Like most good art many people will disagree. The fact that you hate it so much while many othesr like myself love it- really speaks to just how unique it is.

That sucks you couldn't get into the vibe- I can see how the pretentiousness can turn some people off- But I'm used to listening to screen writers, directors and even NPR hosts- So I didn't this this guys ego was too bad.
