If you could take one game and see it remade (whether it was horrid, or awesome) what game would it be and what approach would you take? I'd love to see a remade version of Earthbound or Xenogears. Or, even a sequel to either that gets released stateside would be nice. KTHXBAI

You know, even though (as everyone would say) I have many boners for Final Fantasy VIII, I think the game I'd want remade most is Legend of Dragoon. It was a great game that is often overlooked by a lot of people who play RPGs... I think with a few slight improvements to the battle system and obvious things like fixing translation issues, adding more (and better) voice acting, the game would be amazing if remade.
Dragoons on the PS3... oh yes.

I'd like the Seiken Densetsu series remade. It'd be nice to have some sweet ass co-op action again.

starfox 64-2 with Wii motion plus. Have the angle of the ship match that of the controller but still doubble tap b for arrel roll. A to shoot + and - for bombs and tricks on the D-pad. You could play the whole thing with 1 hand.
I'd actually buy a wii if they did that.

DRJOE Why would you remake Starfox 64 and not the original? Seriously.
Molly You have boners for anything on Playstation.

Geeeoff how can you like the original over 64? It's so tight, not to mention its nice to se further than 10' in front of your ship,, the original (while it is cool) just made my eyes bleed after a little while.
Are you talking about bringing back the original story or game play?

Molly: Never seen the tattoo.
DrJoe: That's why it'd be a remake because they would do it for current gen... ITT: re-making your favorite game, not re-releasing. They don't remake Clash of the Titans with the same special effects from when the original came out.

Where are the Battletoads when we need them most?
And I would agree with Legend of Dragoon. It's pretty decent, and I especially like RPGs with timed actions in them. But, I think it's still a fairly easy find.

Planescape Torment -> I tried to play it again recently and it's not aged well. A Bioware touchup would be killer.

You're all wrong, unless you said MDK, I couldn't be bothered to read any of your replies because I knew they were not, MDK. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDK_(video_game)Seriously, this game was badass. When you jump out of the airplane in just cause 2, it reminds me so much of the beginning to every MDK level. And think about if they added online multiplayer! that would be awesome throwing tactical nukes at people.

The original Breath of Fire. I loved that game. Slap a new coat of paint on it and I'd buy it immediately. Hell, they could just release it on XBLA in its original form and I'd take it.
