Umm, that is very vague. What kind of movies do you like? I have no idea what movies you have seen.

Children of Men.
Blade Runner.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Pulp Fiction.
Full Metal Jacket.
In Bruges.
The Usual Suspects.
Requiem for a Dream.

There are a few for you.

Blade Runner is one of my all time faves. Make sure you watch either the Final Cut, or the Director's cut versions. The Theatrical cut is inferior to these two other versions.

Moon
Let the Right One In
The Descent
Dawn of the Dead (the remake)
The Professional
Leaving Las Vegas
Taxi Driver
Glengarry Glen Ross
Old Boy
Dead Snow
Transsiberian
The Last King of Scotland
Letters from Iwo Jima

Equilibrium
Inglorious Basterds
Cloverfield (it's a decent suspenseful monster movie)
Pan's Labyrinth
No Country for Old Men
Pineapple Express
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Darjeeling Limited
The Fifth Element
V for Vendetta
Shawshank Redemption
Watchmen

Those are all I can think of right now that I enjoy that haven't already been mentioned.

How about let's tweak it a bit; reccommend some good movies to this thread that you think most people haven't seen or heard of before. I'll start:

Loft - Belgian thriller.
Kissed - Drama
The Woodsman - Drama
Hard Candy - Thriller/Drama
Finishing the Game - Comedy/mockumentary
The Kite Runner - Drama
Zatoichi - Samurai movie
La Haine (Hate) - French drama

I was thinking about giving a one sentence synopsis, but I figured I would give people the opportunity to check these out blind. I love to check movies out blind. I saw the Matrix without having seen any ads or previews and without knowing at all what is about.
